Art Shelter

At The Venue, we have identified an unfulfilled artistic need, for an ART SHELTER.  What, you may ask, is an ART SHELTER?

Paintings with true artistic merit, because of inheritance, gift, or whatever, sometimes become albatrosses to their owners.  They sadly are relegated to closets, basements, and garages. Like abandoned dogs, cats, and other animals, they need new, loving, homes.

Historically, the Venue Fine Art & Gifts has offered only art created by the Artists we represent. To meet this significant unmet art adoption need, we are launching an innovative service for art owners, modeled after the Animal Shelter.

Bring us your unloved art, and if we believe we can find a worthy home, we will offer it for sale, on the same basis that we work with all of our artists. If we cannot place it, we will give it back or donate it, as you choose. There will be no art euthanasia.

For May's First Friday’s Gallery Walk and as our feature for May, we are offering paintings in our ART SHELTER from the Brown County Art Collection of Juan Noreigia, with some additions. No less than three Pozzatti's, Two T.C. Steele prints, two Tim Greatbatch's, and more.

Please help us give these great paintings the loving homes they so richly deserve. Our regular art collection will also be on display. Join US!

     Thank You.
