Karen's florals capture nature's ephemeral delicacy while her landscapes provide a sense of place and being. Her abstracts bring form and color to emotion. She moves easily among the three, capturing each with the eye of an artist. Nature inspires Karen's paintings, and her experience evokes her passion.
Karen earned her Ph.D. at Indiana University, where she worked in and taught many aspects of visual literacy and design. After a full career, to our benefit, she is now devoting her full-time efforts to painting in Bloomington.
